Your product labels, filled in from your catalog
Ingredients, « Contains » and « May contain » allergens, net quantity, packing and best-before dates, price and barcode: the label fills in from the item's sheet and prints on a 62 mm thermal roll. For the display case, price tags and store display labels on letter paper.
Everything the label has to say
The label takes everything from the item's sheet: its name and subtitle, the ingredient list, the allergens, the net quantity, the price, your business name and address, and a barcode.
The packing date defaults to today; the best-before date is worked out from the shelf life, in days, that you enter once. A product to keep cold carries the « Garder réfrigéré » (keep refrigerated) mention. The on-screen preview shows the label exactly as it will print. The printed label is in French.

Allergens, box by box
You tick allergens in the list of the 15 priority allergens recognised in Canada. The label carries two separate statements, never mixed: « Contient » (contains), for what is in the recipe, and « Peut contenir » (may contain), for cross-contamination. An allergen ticked under « Contains » cannot also be ticked under « May contain ». A free field takes anything outside the list, kiwi for example.
The « Suggest from ingredients » button spots the words in your ingredient list that give an allergen away — flour, butter, nuts — and ticks the matching boxes. It never unticks anything: you keep the last word.

A photo of the packaging fills in the sheet
Reselling a supplier's product? Take a photo of its packaging: artificial intelligence reads the ingredients, the allergens and the net quantity, in French and in English, and shows them to you before saving. Each reading counts against your plan's AI quota.

A barcode for every product
Every label gets its EAN-13 barcode as soon as it is created, with nothing to type. It is printed under the product; at the till, a USB barcode scanner reads it and adds the item to the cart.
- EAN-13 created automatically
- Printed on the thermal label
- Read at the till by a USB scanner
From the tablet, straight to the Brother
On the InnoBooks POS tablet, the label goes straight to a Brother QL-810W printer on the same network: the app finds it on its own, or by its IP address, and remembers it. 62 mm continuous roll, automatic cut, and a label length that fits the content. Enter the number of copies and print.
From the computer, the web app prints the label through your browser's print window, sized for the 62 mm roll.

A whole batch at once
On production morning, open batch printing in the web app: search for an item or filter by till category, choose the quantity of each product, and print all the thermal labels at once. A filter shows the items that have no label yet.

Price tags and display labels for the display case
Two formats on letter paper, printed from the web app: 90 × 60 mm price tags, with cut lines, and 100 × 80 mm store display labels, six per sheet, with your logo. Both carry the name, the price, the ingredients and the allergens; InnoBooks warns you when an ingredient list is too long to fit.
