Create your account and get started with InnoBooks

Creating an InnoBooks account takes barely two minutes: enter your name and email, choose a password, accept the terms, then confirm the code sent to your inbox. You land straight on your dashboard, where your workspace is ready to set up. Here’s the full walkthrough.

What you’ll need #

• A valid email address you can access (the confirmation code is sent there).
• A password of at least 8 characters, with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character.
• No credit card: signing up is free (No credit card required. Cancel anytime.).
• (Optional) A Google or Apple account if you’d rather sign up in one click.

Steps #

1. Open the sign-up page

   Go to the InnoBooks sign-up page. From the sign-in page you can also click Create a new account. The Try InnoBooks free page opens, showing the note No credit card required. Cancel anytime.

2. Enter your name and email

   Fill in the First name and Last name fields, then type your Email address. This is where the confirmation code will be sent, so make sure it’s correct.

3. Create a password

   In the Password field, choose a password of at least 8 characters that includes one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. Type it again in Confirm Password. Click the eye icon to show or hide what you type.

4. Accept the terms and create the account

   Tick the I confirm that I have read and agree to InnoBooks Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. box. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links open in a new tab if you want to read them. Then click Create an account.

5. Confirm your email

   An Enter verification code window opens and reads We've sent a code to your address. Open your inbox, grab the 6-digit code and enter it. You can tick Trust this device for 30 days to skip this next time, then click Login. Your account is created and you land on your InnoBooks dashboard.

6. Sign up with Google or Apple (Optional)

   Instead of filling in the form, you can use the Or continue with section at the bottom of the page and click the Sign in with Google button (label provided by Google) or the Apple button. You then confirm the verification code the same way and land on your dashboard. Quick tip: already have an account? Click Sign in next to Already have an account?

Tips & edge cases #

• The password is rejected if it’s shorter than 8 characters or missing an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number or a special character. The error message tells you what’s missing.
• Didn’t get the code? In the verification window, click Resend Code under Didn't receive a code? and check your spam folder.
• Once signed up, fill in your business information, then set up your Quebec taxes (GST 5% and QST 9.975%) in settings so you can bill correctly.
• The page shows automatically in French or English based on your browser. You can force the language by adding ?lang=en to the address.

What are the password requirements? #

I didn’t receive the confirmation code — what should I do? #

The 6-digit code is sent to the address shown under We've sent a code to. If it doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder, then click Resend Code in the Enter verification code window.
