How is cash change calculated? #
You enter the amount received and tap “Calculate”. The app subtracts the total and rounds “Money back” to the nearest 5¢, per the Canadian cash-rounding rule.
Can I text the receipt? #
Yes. On the “Payment Successful” screen, enter a phone number and tap SMS. You can also send by Email or print the receipt.
Is the discount applied before or after tax? #
In the manual discount, the “Before tax” switch controls whether the discount is applied before or after tax is calculated.
Should I take payment in the app or on the web register? #
In Québec (MEV-WEB), payments are taken in the certified POS app. The web register is for management.
